News:
Are you a bird-watcher ? Our 125-acre campus is a bird watcher's paradise; more than 150 species of birds have been spotted. And we have birders with impressive lists. Judith Shaw ranks No. 1. She recently joked that she was thinking of writing a book called "Birds I have Had Described to Me," after having heard a dozen reports of an albino sparrow on campus.
She hasn't spotted it yet, but she will. Count on it.
Collington has almost four miles of woodland trails and paved walkways: Collington provides residents with a network of walking possibilities: hikes through the woods, level walks, and paved walkways
for pedestrians, scooters and wheelchairs. In addition to the many kinds of birds here, Collington has at least a dozen kinds of four-footed creatures, including deer and foxes. A number of smaller creatures, such as bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, turtles and an occasional mantis also share our land.
